Job Requirements

The System Software, Integration & Validation group plays a key role in the development of test systems and hardware for test & characterization of Xilinx’s advanced device families.

Our most recent project has been for the ground-breaking Versal: the first Adaptive Compute Acceleration Platform (ACAP).

We are looking for a Systems Design Engineer with a strong background in computer architecture and low level software to join the System-level Test team in San Jose. You will be involved in the silicon life-cycle from testing of emulated next-generation RTL through to silicon verification and characterization. You will have a view of the full system as well as becoming an expert in certain IP down to the register-level. We are looking for someone who can span the range of able to develop device drivers in software to debug on hardware.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Enhance existing test software for system-level validation and verification of existing and new FPGA features.
Work with multiple teams to drive system-level bugs to resolution.
Design, develop, implement, test, and verify systems based on Xilinx FPGAs with embedded MicroBlaze or ARM processors
Provide feedback on architecture, use cases, IP design, tools, and documentation
Determine design approaches and parameters to build complete systems for emulation, verification, validation and benchmarking of new silicon features at a system level.
Help to develop novel methods for system-level modeling and verification

Job Qualifications

BS with 2+ years of exp or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related equivalent

Requirements:

Excellent debugging skills
Demonstrated proficiency in C and Verilog programming
Experience with firmware or device driver programming.
Experience working in a Linux environment, Python, and TCL scripting
Strong communication skills
Below is not mandatory but a plus:
Experience understanding system use cases, determining requirements, and writing test specifications
Experience with embedded systems and MicroBlaze or ARM architecture and assembly language
An understanding of Verification / Validation Methodologies
Emulation platform experience

Ariba Inc. seeks a Senior Developer at Palo Alto, CA location to participate in functional requirement discussions and review functional requirement documents.

Expectations and Tasks:

Participate in technical discussions, review design specification documents, and provide task breakdowns and effort estimates for new features. Perform code review and authorize code check-ins for other developers. Implement features for assigned features. Build automated unit test scripts for assigned features. Conduct performance and integration tests for assigned features. Conduct workshops for technology rollout to developers in local and remote locations. Troubleshoot issues reported by customers in production. Implement fixes for reported issues. Conduct regular knowledge transfers to support personnel on new features and enhancements. Participate in triage meetings with customers and support during customer escalations. Work Experience:

Experience must involve 4 years in: coding in Java/J2EE; Apple WebObjects and Enterprise Objects; REST APIs and Microservices; ORM technologies such as Spring and Hibernate; Oracle and PL/SQL; developing distributed or on-demand applications; XML based integration technologies; Knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain processes; SAP ERP.

Java Security Developer – SAP Fieldglass Job

Role Information

SAP Fieldglass is looking for a Software Developer to utilize their design and development experience to contribute to the success of our technology Initiatives.

 

As a Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to design, develop, and deliver software modules and components of varying complexity related to Java technologies. You will also collaborate with various development teams during all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle. You will also maintain and support product features in the Production, Pre-Production, and Operations environments.

 

In addition to this, you will also:

  • Reproduce and implement fixes for vulnerabilities
  • Gain a thorough knowledge of attack vectors that may be used to exploit software
  • Leverage attack tools to evaluate your work for software vulnerabilities
  • Counsel your colleagues on secure programming practices
  • Research/identify flaws and remedy development mistakes
  • Analyze and translate functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications
  • Perform impact analyses of new features or changes to existing features within the Fieldglass application

Experience
We are looking for skilled software developers with 3+ years of experience in web application development using Java and JavaScript, 2+ years of experience in web application security and threat modeling, as well as experience in penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.

You will also have:

  • A clear understanding of OWASP defined risks and prevention techniques
  • Proficiency in Java 8+
  • A “maker’s mind” and problem-solving mentality
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer or Information Science, or another related field
  • Experience in functional testing and other aspects of software testing
  • Experience with programming with JAVA and Security Code Review
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Services, Information Technology, or another related field

 

In addition to the technical skills you must possess excellent communication, the ability to analyze and translate functional requirements and change requests into technical specifications and the ability to create detailed analysis and designs of minor components.
